“Adhere to your own act, and congratulate yourself if you have done something strange and extravagant and broken the monotony of a decorous age.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

A Brief Argument for Existence

There’s a ceaseless carnival of content out there: curated, tailored information delivered and optimized across every distribution channel imaginable.

Whatever this haphazardly edited, discursive collection of essays should be called, it is not that.

There is no mandate: no prescribed topics, no overarching themes, and no promises I can make about what you’ll find in your inbox. This series of notes exists in order to preserve a cohesive record of my own thinking across time. My hope is that it constitutes a narrative of my evolving worldviews.
